The morning weight
Was 147. I'm taking it as a lb lost just to have something positive right away.
I was doing well friday and saturday but today blowed. We went to a town fair and I ate buttered corn, a snocone, an Hawaiian ice and some cotton candy. Then 2 breadsticks and 3 pieces of pizza. Two more slices around 1am too. So obviously this was my cheat day.
How I lost tons of weight easily is that I just stopped eating. That made it easy. But then my body goes into starvation mode and any calorie I eat stores on me. Which is why I gain the weight right back.
This time I'm going to lose weight by eating. Watching what a eat and the most important thing- portion control. Feeding three wee ones makes nutritious kind of hard, so there are things like pasta and pizza and chicken nuggets. Its a pain in the ass to cook two meals so if I eat what they eat, it'll work. Plus I'm starting to exercise again which is just as necessary as eating right.
I ~can~ do this.

I weigh
148 lbs. Shit. What happened?
I'm 5'8" and should weigh in 20 lbs lighter. This sucks. But I'm starting right now to get out of my weight hole. Right now. So it looks as if ill be concentrating on weight loss and my blog will follow my struggle with it.
One of my med's main side effect is weight gain. But I'm not going to hide behind that. I ~can~ control this. I ~can~. Just watch.

Today was drive like a moron day.
Every car I was behind today drove like a moron. Seriously. Its been one of those days.
I hate hate hate when people are scared to turn left. Look, if that scares you, get off the road. Or just away from me.

All day hangover
So I went and saw Flogging Molly on Wednesday night and I got so drunk. One or two or three many beers. But I had a blast! I was, however, the recipient of an all day hangover on thursday. It seems my body can't take that type of abuse anymore.
Getting older sucks dirty monkey balls.

Wanna see it?
Check out my bruising and swelling. I just took it.

Mind you, it's looking TONS better. It used to be ~black~ instead of the lighter color it is now. (the bruise goes all the way down to a quarter way down my thigh) And the swelling is way down. It used to look like a football. Ugh. It still hurts like a MFer though. Holy shit. Just brushing against it makes me wince.
So that's all I've been doing. Sitting at home and trying to heal. Sublime was the last time I was out for anything else than picking Ella up from school or going to a doctor's appointment. Speaking of the latter, I had my follow up appointment with the surgeon today. He said what happened to me happens in less than 1% of patients. I told him I was on overachiever, which I got a big laugh from.
Tomorrow night I'm going to see Flogging Molly. I've seen them about a dozen times, but this show is going to be different. The last time I saw them was at Red Rocks (sold out), which had a seating capacity of 10,000 people. The venues they play has gotten progressively bigger, which makes sense for a band making it's way in the business. They play the most at The Fillmore in Denver, which holds 4,500 people. But tomorrow night, they are playing at a little teeny bar about 4 minutes from my house - The Black Sheep. It holds 450 people (just looked it up) and the stage is so small, I don't even understand how it's going to hold the whole band.
Can you believe it? I don't know why they are even playing this show, but I'm not going to complain. I got my ticket and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it. Actually, I bought 10 tickets, knowing it was going to sell out, which it did the same day they went on sale. And I think I have all my tickets sold. I'm not trying to make any money out of it, but I wanted all my friends to make it to the show if they wanted to go. It's going to be so much fun!
