... Once (and still) Infertile, but still Schnarky as hell. This blog is dedicated to the daily ramblings from the mind of Nancy. It isn't about anything profound in the grand scheme of things, but it ~is~ about things in my life, schnarkiness always included. I have a second blog, listed in my profile, but the blogs will continue to remain separate.

"At Just Brakes they really do care...
.. to stick their foot up your ass!"
My brakes just started to make a noise this weekend. I take my car in immediately. Guess how much?
$999.88
Yeah. They can kiss my ass while they remove their foot. Fuckers. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
WTF? Are your brakes made of gold? Maybe it's a typo? Dobbs put brakes on my car (a Nissan Maxima) for $150 (with a mail in rebate for $25) - granted, I had to take the car back twice and they ended up putting new brakes and rotors on the second return visit, but my brakes work and I didn't have to deplete the college fund! And I have a lifetime warranty!
I hope you did not let them do the job because that is WAY too much even if you need all new disks you should not have to pay anywhere near that much money
Are you effing kidding me??!! Now I really wish we lived closer- the hubs is a mechanic & would do it right the first time for a quarter that price! Ridiculous- your car shouldn't be that expensive.
No way. That is out of control bullshit. Previous to this the worst brake job fuckover I've heard of is $700. There is NO WAY just brakes cost that much. What the hell?
I HATE cars and dealing with all the expensive ass repairs!! That seems kinda high to me to get your brakes fixed. I would take it some place else, but that's just me.
Hope you are well. Sorry I haven't commented in a while. I still read every post though!
That seems high to me too. Even if you needed new rotors too (which you shouldn't if they *just* started making noise), I would say $600-700 tops for front and back. Never heard of almost a thousand dollars for brakes.
My brakes were making noise and I needed new ones, they install new ones and they still make the same stupid squeaky noise. Get out of there and go someplace else!
Hi Nancy - haven't been here to comment in many months, sorry I'm just a loser. Hope you told the auto place where to stick it, and found someplace cheaper to fix your brakes.
Thanks for wanting to leave a comment. While I welcome you to agree ~or~ disagree with me, rude name calling will not be published. The general rule I will follow is if it's not something you would say to someone face to face, it's not something I'll publish. This does ~not~ apply to disagreements. I welcome discussions on different opinions!

Holy fuck me in the ass! That's a ton of $$ for damn brakes!

Wow that is nuts! I had brakes and rotors put on my car and it was only $265.00.

Dude, screech on out of there. That is way, way too much cash.
