(In)Fertility statistics.

I was watching GWLBWLB tonight and I heard one girl say "25% of couples will get pregnant on their first try".

And after rolling my eyes, I tried to access my infertility stats section of my memory vault and realized that someone had broken in and stole everything of value.

There are a TON of general and very detailed statistics out there regarding fertility and infertility. Help me out and comment with any you happen to remember.

Please?

Eh lets see...20% is the female half, 20% is the male and 10% is both or unknown? Crap...now I can't remember all those stats...:(

I think the general answer was always "your average totally healthy couple only has a 20% chance of conceiving every month", and it's the same fact that I hand out to people. :) As far as MF/FM/UNK, that breakdown is NOT something I ever knew!

Uh noz! I heard on Hollywood Investigator that over 80 percent of the couples having unprotected sex regularly will conceive within their first year of such stated 'ahem' activity!
