And ~this~ is why I watch the ends of movies.

I just watched the end of "The Mist". OMG. Worst ending ever. Worse than The Departed. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Not that the movie looked like a really good movie, but it would have pissed me off if I watched the whole thing. Hell, it pissed me off I watched 10 minutes of it!

Anywho - the last post made me laugh so hard. I loved all the answers!!!

I've been in a rut. I need to get out of it before the knitting needles come back out and I start stabbing my eyeballs out. or in. I guess if I stab my eyeballs, they'd be going in, not out. Unless they got stuck on the needle and pulled out.

I got my house refinanced. I dropped an entire percentage point - down to 5%, so that's good.

I'm so bored staying home. I swear, this rut has got a hold on me.

Speaking of staying at home, I got all the steps I have to do to get into nursing school this fall. The job search will be a deciding factor, but I'm getting all set to start school just in case. Yay!

Okay, gotta check on my unemployment status. I'm officially eligible now. I have to make sure it's still active.

Nursing school! It's a recession-proof field- as long as you are OK working in an acute care or LTC setting. Be prepared for schools to have a 2-year wait to start, though. And even BSN programs are requiring a 3.8 to get in here in Ohio. Having a degree already will likely bump you to the head of the line- it did for me.

Good luck with the nursing school. I think it's great that you are going to go back. You're setting a great example for your kids...

Good luck with the job hunt, although I do think it would be really interesting to do nursing school. That has always been my back up plan if I get sick of teaching.

Have never seen that movie and, given the reviews here, I think I'll pass it by.

Good luck with the job search/school in the fall.

I watch the end of movies too, if I'm watching alone. I don't want to waste my time if it's a stupid movie :)
Good luck with your job search and/or nursing school.

I saw only the last 20 minutes or so of that movie and me and HunHun looked at each other, like, "for real?? That's it?!". Sucked! Anyway, yay for school! I was about to start when I found out I was pg w/ the boys. SOOO want to go back and finish! I'm excited for you!

Wow, congratulations on making plans for nursing school - that's great! I'm a bit behind on what's been going on with you - but it sounds awesome. My hubby is still on unemployment too - he freelances here and there - hard to believe he's been laid off almost a year!! (when Teddy was 5 months old!)
