Questioning some long standing mysteries.

1. ~ What is the proper way to put your top (flat) sheet on your bed? "Design" side up or down?

2. ~ When changing the roll of toilet paper, which way does the flap lie? Over or under?

3. ~ What are the basic steps to making scrambled eggs? Specifically, what do you scramble the eggs with, if anything, and what do you "do" to the pan before pouring in the eggs to cook?

4. ~ Is it okay to put leftovers in ziploc baggies?

5. ~ Blowing your nose in the shower - normal or not?

6. ~ Another shower question. When cleaning your vag, how do you clean - soap or no soap? just outside or do you do a little inside?

7. ~ Hepatitis can be transmitted through fecal matter. Is "splashback" from a public toilet dangerous?

8. ~ What is more annoying in regards to reading things online - ALL CAPS? Too many exclamation points?!!!! or teenage shortcut typing, ie you = U, are = are.

9. ~ Is clipping fingernails in public considered acceptable?

10. ~ What is more annoying in regards to dressing - VPL (visible panty lines)? Pantyhose with open toed shoes? or (for white girls) wearing a white bra under a white shirt?

1. Design down so if you turn down your bed you don't see the non-design side.

2. I personally don't care about the toilet paper.

3. I don't eat eggs.

4. I have no problem with most leftovers in baggies. However, some things would be a little weird (like soup).

5. I have been known to blow my nose in the shower when necessary, though it seems like more of a man thing.

6. I definitely use soap, and I clean it pretty thoroughly.

7. Unsure about the splashback.

8. I think ALL CAPS is definitely most annoying.

9. Clipping fingernails in public is definitely not acceptable. It's weird.

10. I am not particularly annoyed by any of these. I do try to avoid visible pantylines, and I would absolutely never wear pantyhose with open toed shoes, but I'm not annoyed when others do these things...as a matter of fact, it gives me a laugh. I have no issue with white girls wearing white bras with white shirts. I've never noticed it.

1. Good side down - towards your body.

2. Don't really care. My dogs grab it more easily if I put it on hanging over the top, so I usually put it on the other way.

3. I whip up the eggs with a whisk. I use a tiny bit of butter in a non-stick pan. I myself don't eat scrambled eggs though. I like them over hard or hard boiled.

4. Depends on what it is, and what temperature. Room temp, less messy foods, sure. (Like a slice of a chicken quesadilla.)

5. I've done it, if I really had to. My DH does it very loudly every single morning. Annoys me, but only because he sounds like a fog-horn.

6. Hypoallergenic soap. I don't go up IN there, but any part that my washcloth can easily reach gets washed.

7. GAG. I hate public toilets, don't know the answer and wish I weren't thinking about it right now.

8. I hate the all caps more, but the other drives me nuts too, if more than one brief sentence (like for a text).

9. No way. Not acceptable.

10. Pantyhose with open toed shoes. Two older ladies at work do it. Drives me nuts.

1. Design side down so when you turn the top of the sheet down you can see it.

2. I like it over.

3. Beat the hell out of the eggs (I hate egg whites, makes me gag if there are white bits in there), add a splash of milk for every 2 eggs. Plenty of butter in the pan. Sometimes I add chives, parsley or cheese right after the eggs go into the pan.

4. No. Tupperware.

5. Normal I think. Providing you're in there alone.

6. Small amount of soap, between the labia but not inside the vagina. Rinse well.

7. Have never thought about it.

8. All of them.

9. No. It's gross.

10. None of those things bother me, I just don't care.

Robin said...

Lmao

1. If I could just fold it properly at all I wouldn't care which side was up or down.

2. I do it over so I dont have to feel around in the dark.

3. I just beat them and pour them in a pan with melted butter. No add-ins

4. Sure

5. Normal, but maybe gross?

6. I think it depends on the time of the month.

7. Probably not dangerous, but definitely gross.

8. Teenage short cut typing. I have students who write that way on their papers now, too.

9. Yuck. No.

10. VPL for sure!

Mermaid said...

1. Design down so you see it when you fold the top over.

2. Over the top. The other way irritates the hell out of me.

3. Whisk with milk, S&P, sometimes dash of Chalula hot sauce. Scramble in melted butter. Add grated cheese at end for special treat.

4. Sure, for most things.

5. No problem with blowing nose in shower.

6. Hypoallergenic cleanser, pretty thoroughly.

7. Don't know but am now grossed out by possibility.

8. Teenage abbreviations are most irritating of those you mentioned. However, my biggest peeve is misuse of me, myself, and I. Using "I" or "myself" when it is grammatically incorrect doesn't make a person sound more educated, it makes that person sound stupid. "Send the file to Bob or myself." News flash to the world, sometimes "me" is proper. Ok, off soapbox, sorry Nancy.

9. Gross, definitely a no-no. I have issues with fingernails. Even slightly long nails on a man makes my skin crawl. Any growth on toenails on anyone makes me retch.

10. None of these are terribly annoying, although I don't like VPL.

I'm mostly a lurker - though I read all the time - but this is too funny, I had to respond.

1. Don't really care -- I suspect it's design down, but I usually put it on design side up.

2. Must be over! Can't say why, but I'll change it if someone else puts it under.

3. I usually scramble with a little milk, but if I have cottage cheese in the house I'll use that instead. Cooked in a skillet with some vegetable oil.

4. Yes, though I usually only put dry stuff in ziplocs.

5. Only if absolutely necessary.

6. Yes soap, not too invasive.

7. Don't know.

8. teen shortcut typing

9. ICK - no way. For years I rode the metro to work and nothing grossed me out more than seeing or hearing someone cut their nails.

10. Pantyhose with open toed shoe.

Shannon said...

1. Design side down, but I don't do it this way.

2. Must go over! This one drives me nuts. :)

3. I whisk the eggs in a bowl with a little milk and salt and pepper. Then put them in a slightly greased non-stick pan that has been heated. Cook through.

4. Yes

5. Not

6. Little soap, outside only.

7. Not sure, but yuck!

8. I don't like the abbreviations. Mostly because it takes me a minute sometimes to figure them out.

9. No, I can't stand the noise of other people clipping their nails.

10. I'm more aware of panty lines than the white bra. I don't see many nylons with open toe shoes except around my grandmas and I can't fault them.

Anonymous said...

1. All of my sheets are solid colored. I put the sheets on so that the tag is on the down side. If they had a design, I guess that would be design side out.

2. Over. I know, the cat gets at it, the kids unroll it, but I like it under.

3. Throw a pat of butter in the pan and melt that. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with a fork, a splash of milk and some salt and pepper. Pour the eggs in the pan once the butter is melted. Stir with a spatula occasionally until done. If I’m feeling really ambitious, when the eggs are almost done, I’ll add some shredded cheese to the top and put a cover on the pan for a minute until the cheese melts.

4. Yes. Unless it’s something *remotely* liquid. Like spaghetti.

5. Not necessarily normal, but I do it on occasion. Especially when I have a cold. The steam loosens everything up nicely, why not?

6. Er, I’ll soap up the outside as an extension of my whole body cleaning. Then rinse the outside and crevices with water. And yes, I’ll take a quick swipe with my finger to get the vaginal canal. No soap on the inside or in the folds though.

7. Well, I don’t have hepatitis yet, so I say no. It is pretty much the most disgusting thing on earth though.

8. All caps. I will skip over a post entirely if it is written in all caps. Teen slang is annoying too, but I will at least try to decipher it.

9. No. Your dna should leave your body in public. This includes spitting, clipping nails, picking your nose, puking, farmer blowing, whatever. If you can be identified by it at a crime scene, do it in the privacy of a bathroom.

10. Pantyhose with open toed shoes.

..Soo.See.. said...

HeeHee!
1. Design side up! You do a double fold (fold over top of sheet - now you see other side - then bring the top of the sheet back toward the top) so the design shows on both the sheet and fold.

2.Over!! And I'll change it at YOUR house if I see it under! ;)

3. Eggs w/ a wee bit of milk, a bit of butter in the pan. Remove from heat before they get too dry. Voila!

4. Depends on the leftovers, and baggie!

5. Normal.

6. Use soap, take my time, and rinse!

7. I think splashback is N.A.S.T.Y!!! I'd say it's definitely dangerous to a degree.

8. I think a never-ending sentence / paragraph.

9. No. Tell that to my boss that use to sit behind me!

10. White bra/shirt. I like tights w/ open toed shoes ONLY if it's a peeptoe, not no sandals! and VPL I think is excused for some.

Melis.sa said...

1. i put the design side up because i never really make the bed properly anyhow

2. it doesn't matter to me which way the TP goes

3. i scramble eggs with milk, spray the pan with olive oil spray, i try not to stir them too much, cook until nothing looks runny but before that dry egg smell

4. depends on the leftovers, if it's pizza baggies are fine

5. i'd say normal

6. soap & water, anything on the inside is just water

7. sick! never thought about it though because i have to pee a lot

8. hm, i like exclamation points and typing lazy...i hate when people text with u's and r's though

9. i hate the sound/thought of nails being clipped at home, so in public i would have to move far away from the sound or flying nails

10. white bra/white shirt

1. ~ What is the proper way to put your top (flat) sheet on your bed? "Design" side up or down? My sheets are mostly solid colors, but I would put the design side up because it would bug me to see the more "faded" side if I lifted up my sheets. However, I don't fold the sheets over the comfortor. LOL, I know your answer on this because it's been discussed before.

2. ~ When changing the roll of toilet paper, which way does the flap lie? Over or under? It has to be over, and I will actually fix a roll of toilet paper that has been put on to roll under. I always think that person is being lazy and not paying attention to how the roll is put on.

3. ~ What are the basic steps to making scrambled eggs? Specifically, what do you scramble the eggs with, if anything, and what do you "do" to the pan before pouring in the eggs to cook? I don't cook! I believe my hubby puts the eggs in a bowl and adds milk, whisking them before putting them in the frying pan. I think he puts some kind of oil in the pan before cooking (we don't use nonstick because it's toxic; it can also kill birds, and since we have pet birds...no Teflon for us).

4. ~ Is it okay to put leftovers in ziploc baggies? Sandwiches and "non-messy" foods? Sure! Meatballs or mashed potatoes--ew, no.

5. ~ Blowing your nose in the shower - normal or not? I blow my nose before I get in the shower.

6. ~ Another shower question. When cleaning your vag, how do you clean - soap or no soap? just outside or do you do a little inside? I have a natural almond bar soap that I use in the shower--I clean the outside and the inside of the labs but I don't douche or clean too deep.

7. ~ Hepatitis can be transmitted through fecal matter. Is "splashback" from a public toilet dangerous? I don't like to think about it! I would think the chances of catching Hepatitis from a toilet would be extremely rare.

8. ~ What is more annoying in regards to reading things online - ALL CAPS? Too many exclamation points?!!!! or teenage shortcut typing, ie you = U, are = are. My biggest annoyance is people who use teenage shortcut typing. It drives me absolutely nuts. After that would come typing in all caps, and finally, too many exclamation points--that's not too annoying.

9. ~ Is clipping fingernails in public considered acceptable? No, it's disgusting. There was a lady in the breakroom a month ago or so clipping her fingernails at the table. Yes, at the table. Granted, it wasn't when anyone else was in there, but I still refuse to sit at that table, even though houskeeping has probably cleaned it a lot. I can't get the image of her clipping her nails out of my mind. Do it in the bathroom, and then wash your hands afterwards because there is a lot of dirt and bacteria under the nails. I wish there was some sort of etiquette class people had to take as children because I can't believe how many people don't follow this one.

10. ~ What is more annoying in regards to dressing - VPL (visible panty lines)? Pantyhose with open toed shoes? or (for white girls) wearing a white bra under a white shirt? Visible panty lines is probably the most annoying. I don't want to see that! Next would be the white bra under a white shirt (there is a REASON why they make nude bras--I usually buy the most of this color because it works with everything); finally, the pantyhose (I hate that word) with open-toed shoes.

1. We have never used flat sheets. Is that weird? We don't even own any, I just buy the fitted ones.

2. Under but Josh says over.

3. I scramble them with a fork in a bowl. I put butter on the pan first.

4. No, I use containers.

5. Normal.

6. Soap on the outside.

7. Probably not but it's gross.

8. Shortcut typing and when people over use "lol".

9. No and neither is filing them! I've told a woman to stop it before.

10. All of the above! Why on earth would you even own a white bra?

Geochick said...

Oh, fun and distracting from real work! I like reading everyone's answers.

1. Design-side down

2. TP over the top (easier to stop the roll)

3. I make scrambled eggs with milk and have to use oil or butter in the stainless steel pan

4. Ziplocs? Yeah sure.

5. ewwwww....but probably normal.

6. Very little soap outside.

7. I'd be more worried about E. Coli in the splashback which is known to happen. Wouldn't you have to have an open wound for the Hep to take hold?

8. Too many punctuation marks!!!!!

9. Not acceptable. Drives me nuts.

10. Pantyhose with open toed shoes. WTH.

Geochick said...

I should clarify No. 10

I mean pantyhose with sandals. Peep-toes are ok.

Elana Kahn said...

1. Design side up. My mom always did it the other way and it bugged me. Who cares about the little flap, I want to see design on MOST of my bed!

2. Flap goes over. (And I know your feelings on this...you are hardcore "over" girl.)

3. I usually mix with milk and some garlic powder. I don't "do" anything to the pan.

4. Totally ok.

5. Sure it's normal...what's wrong with it?

6. On a normal shower day I clean with soap but just the outside.

7. I guess it could be. EWWW ICK!

8. All caps is MUCH more annoying. All caps should be used only for emphasis otherwise it's like shouting. It drives me crazy!!!

9. I think clipping fingernails is kinda weird in public, but filing them is fine.

10. I never have a problem with VPL, because I'm always dressed in a long skirt. I also never wear open-toed shoes. LOL But I don't mind wearing an all-white bra under white shirts. I never really thought about it.

Lollipop Goldstein said...

Best scrambled eggs in the world are made in a metal bowl set above boiling water and you literally steam them as you scramble them (use Alton Brown's recipe. I think they are sometimes called French eggs). They stay hot for a long time and they are so fluffy.

Though it's a pain in the ass to clean the metal bowl after.

1. ~ What is the proper way to put your top (flat) sheet on your bed? "Design" side up or down?
design down. the "tops" of all sheets (top and bottom) are the sides meant to be against your skin.

2. ~ When changing the roll of toilet paper, which way does the flap lie? Over or under?
over. over. a thousand times, over.

3. ~ What are the basic steps to making scrambled eggs? Specifically, what do you scramble the eggs with, if anything, and what do you "do" to the pan before pouring in the eggs to cook?
1. butter in the pan to heat.
2. beat eggs in bowl with fork
3. add torn pieces of american cheese (one slice per egg)
4. pour into hot, buttery pan
5. stir periodically with wooden spoon.

4. ~ Is it okay to put leftovers in ziploc baggies?
yes. especially pizza and unsauced pasta.

5. ~ Blowing your nose in the shower - normal or not?
people do it. i don't.

6. ~ Another shower question. When cleaning your vag, how do you clean - soap or no soap? just outside or do you do a little inside?
soap. with a washcloth. in and out. well, not up in the hole.

7. ~ Hepatitis can be transmitted through fecal matter. Is "splashback" from a public toilet dangerous?
neh.

8. ~ What is more annoying in regards to reading things online - ALL CAPS? Too many exclamation points?!!!! or teenage shortcut typing, ie you = U, are = are.
exclamation points!!!!!!

9. ~ Is clipping fingernails in public considered acceptable?
not so much.

10. ~ What is more annoying in regards to dressing - VPL (visible panty lines)? Pantyhose with open toed shoes? or (for white girls) wearing a white bra under a white shirt?
pantyhose.

jill said...

First, I think it's funny that your brain wouldn't let you just type "R" for "are". :D

1. I think it's design side down.

2. Flap is always over. Under is weird.

3. Scramble with milk, salt, pepper - maybe some cheese or other spices. Possibly some butter in the pan before pouring eggs in but usually just a preheated, dry, non-stick pan.

4. Yep

5. I think it's normal though it's something I only do rarely.

6. Definitely soap, inside and out.

7. No clue but... ugh.

8. All caps. Especially from clients who should freakin know better.

9. I don't think so. I do clip my nails at work sometimes but never in front of anyone and I make sure to clean up very well.

10. Not really annoyed by any of those but I'd pick pantyhose with open-toed shoes. I'd snicker to myself.

Miss Tori said...

1. Doesn't matter. No one buy me and Hubby are going to see it anyway.

2. Over the top.

3. Scramble them in a bowl, add a splash of milk, salt & pepper, pour into pan coated with a bit of butter.

4. Well, yeah!

5. Normal for those who aren't prissy. As is peeing in the shower.

6. Soap it all up, inside and out, using my hand (not my scrunchy thingy). My butt too.

7. No idea. If you gotta poop, poop. Just wipe well.

8. ALL CAPS IS MOST ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Ugh, that's so gross. I can understand emegency clips, but not grooming clips.

10. VPL not a problem, but I don't want to see your thongs above the waist line of your jeans. Not too concerned about the pantyhose with open toed shoes. And I'm not going to lose any sleep over a white bra with a white shirt. I'd rather that than a colored bra (such as black, red, etc.) with a white shirt. I don't care if you think you're hot or not.

de-lurking because this is fun!

1. I didn't realize there was a "proper" way. And I never would have thought to put the design side down so that you see it if it's folded over. That just seems weird to me, but then again, I don't do the fold over.

2. Doesn't matter to me. I think hubby prefers over and I think he switches them all if I put it on so it's under.

3. Nonstick spray in a pan, I scramble the eggs with some milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder in the pan directly and just cook until they're no longer runny.

4. According to my husband - no. He's tries to be as green as possible so everything goes in tupperware. Everything.

5. ~ Normal to me. After I wash my face I feel like I've loosened stuff up in there and can't stand it and don't want to wait until I get out. I sound like a foghorn and I don't care.

6. Soap with my hand. I clean thoroughly but not to the point where it gets irritated.

7. I doubt it but it's definitely disgusting and thinking about it makes me gag.

8. I hate all caps, I will pass right on by something written in caps. Really hate teenage shortcut, even in texts. I read everything phonetically (the slang anyways) I hate lol-ing, ROFLing, LMAO, etc. Really irritates me the most I would say. I'm very guilty of over exclaming, but I feel like it helps to read my tone. I'm trying very hard not to over !!!

9. Vomit. Totally unacceptable. I hate the sound of it anytime, no matter what. I know it's necessary, especially for men, but I can't even stand when my husband does it in the bathroom, over the toilet. The sound makes me crazy.

10. VPL doesn't bother me - as long as it isn't popping out of your pants, but I guess that's better than seeing your crack. Pantyhose with open toed shoes bugs me - even with peeptoes, but I hate peeptoes anyways. White and white bugs me too.

1. ~ Design side up. I never understood why people put it down. You arent going to see it, you are sleeping! It looks like its inside out to me.

2. ~ I know like, 95% of the population says over, but for some reason under is the way I like it. Over irritates me.

3. ~ Use butter Pam to spray the pan, and then just use a fork to scramble, and then put in a hot pan with salt and pepper. Sometimes I will use milk.

4. ~ Yes! I use them all the time, for dry stuff-like pizza.

5. ~ I do blow my nose in the shower. Its convenient.

6. ~ Clean the outside, always get worried I am going to have soap burn if I dont clean the inside enough.

7. ~ Never thought about splashback, but the water is supposed to be clean, right?!

8. ~ All 3. The caps I wont even read. Its SO ANNOYING! Texting is ok for the shortcuts, but not in emails.

9. ~ I do have to admit I have clipped my nails in public, but only because I have a hangnail. If I hear others, I try to ignore.

10. ~ I think pantyhose with open toes is so funny. Why do women think that looks nice? We will notice, and most of us will wonder. Nancy, I have seen your argument about white bras, and I totally agree! Why do you want people staring at your chest?! I have a girlfriend who does this, and I have so often wanted to say something, but how do you tell them? You can see every single detail of the bra!

2. Usually over but sometimes I just put it on and run, not caring.

3. I crack the eggs into the pan, add a little bit of milk, salt, and pepper, and scramble away.

4. Yes. I do it all the time.

5. Normal. At least in our house. Especially when you have a cold. Being able to shoot snot rockets helps get all the gross stuff out.

6. Soap normally. When I was pregnant I used stuff like Summers Eve. Just the outside.

7. I suppose so.

8. Oh lord, too many explanation points drive me insane. I know of someone that ends every sentence with one. Every. Single. One.

9. I don't think so. I at times will clip mine in the car if I have a hangnail and I'm waiting for someone. But I try not to do it in front of someone.

10. I would said VPL because it's hard to ignore. The bra things doesn't bother me too much and neither does the hose with open toed shoes.

Love this!!!

1. I usually will go with design down so I can fold it over all fancy-like. Ha. Doesn't look so great when the sheets are all wrinkled from sitting in the dryer all day though.

2. I haven't become too neurotic about this yet (it's coming) but if I think about it, it's flap over.

3. Luckily, my husband is the cook in family so I just sit back and watch him make my eggs. ;)

4. We always have a full stock of Ziplocs for the leftovers...gotta have every size ready to go!!!

5. Sure! I don't do it all the time but who can resist the fun of blowing it all out when you can just wash it away??

6. Lots of soap on the outside and some on the inside but more just rinsing very well.

7. Sick. Never really thought about that before. I was too busy making sure the inside of my panties (panties or underwear??) weren't touching the toilet.

8. Tough one but I'm going with all caps. But, I have to say it's worse when they mix lower case with caps.

9. NO!!! I worked with an older lady who would do it every single day. I never went over to her side of the office because I just knew there had to be clippings all over the place. Plus, the "click" noise drives me insane.

10. I agree with previous commenter that VPL is just unavoidable in some cases but I sure hate to see it and always check to make sure it's not a problem for me but that pretty much stopped the day I gave up the grannies.

1. Design side down. Not sure why but I have always done it.

2. Over..it's a law in my house.

3. Can't answer this since I don't cook eggs. DBF does but we always cook them over medium.

4. Of course. I do it all the time.

5. I have done it. I hope it's normal but if not, go figure. Once again I am not "normal."

6. Light soap on the outside only. I am super prone to infections down there so I tend to avoid irratating my girl parts.

7. I have this question too.

8. teenage short cuts kill me. I don't even understand some of them.

9. I have never seen a person doing this so I assume it's not acceptable but to be honest, it would not bother me.

10. wearing clothes that are a few sizes to small and thinking it looks good. I actually wrote a blog post on this.

1- design side down, so when you turn down teh bed, you see the pattern.
2- flap goes OVER. under drives me batty.

1. ~ There are designs on your flat sheets in the US? But why bother with flat sheets when you can use fitted sheets? Fitted sheets ROCK!!

2. ~ Flap always lies OVER! OVER OVER OVER! It's international hotel standard so why not do it like that in your own homes ppl?

3. ~ Put eggs in a bowl, put some herbs in, salt and pepper, little bit of milk, whisk them all up, tiny bit of olive oil in the pan, and scramble them right up - yummy!

4. ~ I normally put mine in tupperware - never tried ziploc baggies - might try it sometime...

5. ~ Totally normal - your nose runs cos you're stimulating your nasal passages by washing your face - so you gotta blow right? Right?

6. ~ Soap definitley - inside and outside - don't wanna have a thrush outbreak and don't wanna smell either ;)

7. ~ Erm I really don't know?

8. ~ Teenage short typing - mostly cos I don't understand it ;)Oh and light colour fonts on dark backgrounds - ouch on the eyes!!

9. ~ Definitely NOT!

10. ~ Pantyhose with open toed shoes! SO German and not cool!!

1. The design side should go down. I don't always do it this way though.

2. Toilet paper should always come over. Drives me crazy when it's under!

3. I make kick ass scrambled eggs. Melt buttah in the pan, crack eggs into a bowl, beat them up a little, add salt, pepper, and a splash of water, yes water, it makes them fluffy, add them to the pan, stir 'em around, then add cheese when they are almost done.

4. It's fine to put leftovers in ziploc bags but I don't.

5. Ewwww. I've never blown my nose in the shower.

6. I only use soap on the outside, but I use the showerhead to rinse ;)

7. GAG. I'm sure it's possible but unlikely. I have the grossest splashback story & I don't want to think about it.

8. Exclamation points don't bother me (I'm probably guilty of that one), but all caps & shortcuts annoy the hell out of me!

9. No no never! I can't understand why someone would do this!

10. All of those drive me nuts. If I had to pick one probably the pantyhose with open toed shoes, because the person with the VPL could be unaware, and same with white bras, although only if they get dressed in the dark.

1. Proper is picture down for folding over. I have solid sheets and we're lucky if I get it in the right direction.

2. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - OVER. I am passionate about this. Or I was until I had a kid, and now it's a roll on the back of the toilet.

3. Sometimes water, milk, but usually nothing except salt and pepper. I let butter melt in the pan first.

4. I don't see why not. Depends on the leftover.

5. Totally normal. Lots of things are fine in the shower.

6. A swift one pass with soap.

7. *shrug* Never worried much about it.

8. I personally would like to add bad spelling of homonyms.

9. No. Though in your car is fine.

10. I'd vote pantyhose. Do you know that men tend to like VPL? It lets them picture what you have underneath apparently.

1. Design side up.

2. Flap goes over. ALWAYS!! (People have been killed for lesser sins).

3. I melt butter in the pan first. I crack eggs in a bowl and mix them up with a fork. I then add milk or a little water to the bowl and mix that up. I find the key is to pour the eggs in the pan and let them set for about 45 seconds, then start scrambling.

4. Yes, it's fine to put leftovers in Ziploc. The only problem with that is that you can't go from fridge to micro.

5. I don't blow my nose in the shower. Never needed to.

6. I use a little soap on the outside and rub it on the inside of the lips.

7. I try not to freak about this.

8. I believe that refusing to use capitals at the beginning of sentences is more annoying. Ooh, I also can't stand incorrect use of apostrophes, and I detest the misuse of loose/lose.

9. The only public place you should clip nails is in a nail salon.

10. I find VPL to be the most annoying of these three.

1. I don't have sheets with designs.

2. Don't care

3. Beaten well with a little bit of sea salt and pepper

4. I use Tupperware, kind of on an environmental kick right now.

5. I have never blown my nose in the shower.

6. I use soap and clean the outside of my vagina

7. Not sure

8. All Caps

9. I hate when my dh clips his nails in the house. I couldn't imagine someone doing it in public.

10. I really don't care what other people wear, except for clothes that are too small. I grew-up with out a mom and just now learned that you are not suppose to wear a white bra with a white shirt. I have always done it. I feel "little" foolish.

1. ~ Design Side Up!

2. ~ All toilet paper discussions are subject to government approval. Sorry.

3. ~ I prefer to break an egg on a heated pan directly, don't scramble my eggs.

4. ~ Not all the leftovers, I guess.

5. ~ Much better than doing it in full public mode.

6. ~ Thorough; with soap.

7. ~ I would guess so

8. ~ I hate the shortcuts that are exstg.

9. ~ Not really.

10. ~ Visible Panty Lines..

1. ~ What is the proper way to put your top (flat) sheet on your bed? "Design" side up or down?

Print side down so you can fold it over the top cover and have print side up. Unless you don't have a fold, then print side up.

2. ~ When changing the roll of toilet paper, which way does the flap lie? Over or under?

Oh! SO OVER! Even the TP company's know this, if it goes under, then the print is upside down.

3. ~ What are the basic steps to making scrambled eggs? Specifically, what do you scramble the eggs with, if anything, and what do you "do" to the pan before pouring in the eggs to cook?

Spray the pan with Pam or add a little butter, mix eggs with tiny amount of milk to make them fluffy, mix with fork before adding to pan so the yolk is evenly distributed throughout the whites (and milk). Add your salt and pepper (if desired) before it's cooked so the flavor is throughout the whole egg and not just on top.

4. ~ Is it okay to put leftovers in ziploc baggies?

Yes, just don't re-heat leftovers in Ziploc bag.

5. ~ Blowing your nose in the shower - normal or not?

Guilty - so Normal. =D

6. ~ Another shower question. When cleaning your vag, how do you clean - soap or no soap? just outside or do you do a little inside?

Special vagie-poo (FDS)

7. ~ Hepatitis can be transmitted through fecal matter. Is "splashback" from a public toilet dangerous?

Oooh- don't know.

8. ~ What is more annoying in regards to reading things online - ALL CAPS? Too many exclamation points?!!!! or teenage shortcut typing, ie you = U, are = r

Ugh, tossup between all caps and shortcut text typing in e-mails. I’m one to use too many exclamation points ::embarrassed::

9. ~ Is clipping fingernails in public considered acceptable?

Fine with me but biting nails - Gross. (Then why do I do it - Hrmmm)

10. ~ What is more annoying in regards to dressing - VPL (visible panty lines)? Pantyhose with open toed shoes? or (for white girls) wearing a white bra under a white shirt?

I actually saw a girl wearing a white bra under a white button-down shirt and found it to be quite sexy. However white bra under a white t-shirt does give the impression of sloppy attire, but I'm not a T-shirt fan At All.

1. Design side up. Never thought about it though!

2. Over. Just makes sense!

3. melt butter in pan; add eggs and let sit for a bit; add a little cheese and scramble it up! don't forget salt and pepper!

4. Depends on what it is

5. Normal but gross

6. soap - and I guess a little in. I will pay better attention tomorrow!

7. Dangerous? I don't think it will kill you or anything. But germy, yes.

8. All CAPS kind of gets to me

9. Never. Even if you think no one is watching.

10. white bra and white shirt.

1. Down, so when you fold the sheet over or turn your bed down, you see it.

2. Over! I'm so obsessed about this that I've changed it at other people's houses.

3. I don't make scrambled eggs. I'm a really good cook but can't get scrambled eggs right and I can't stand doing something that I don't do well.

4. I didn't use to think so but they've come in really handy in storing food in the freezer for LO's arrival.

5. Normal but not very lady like. I've had to do it though.

6. Lightly loofa around the outside - leave the inside alone. It sort of maintains intself.

7. I don't know but
backsplash totally grosses me out!

8. Gosh, it's close between exclamation points and teen shortcuts. I think exclamation points win though.

9. Ewww, no! Filing is okay though.

10. VPL. If you're sporting sweats or something, no biggie, but if you're dressed nicely and have VPL, you might as well have saved yourself the effort of dressing up at all.
