I'm still alive.

I don't know where my motivation for blogging went. It's not like I don't have the time - as an unemployed girl, time is what I do have. As I said on the my other blog (and posted a few karl pictures) we just got over a stomach bug. But other than that, pretty much nada.

So I'll leave you with a question ...

If you had to pick between losing taste or hearing, what would you choose?

Taste. Then maybe I'd be perma-skinny.

Hands down taste. My dad has been very hard of hearing since he was 3 yrs old and I've seen him struggle.

Definitely taste. Much like Birdee said, it would help with my weight loss! Also, I think it would be a lot easier to live life without being able to taste vs. not being able to hear.

I'd pic taste. It would kill me to never hear my children's voices again.

I already suffer from awful hearing and it is the pits.
I miss you...

I'd go with taste. I'd be sure to lose weight then, but I'm sure I'd regret it later.

Hearing is a bit important as a Music teacher.

Definitely taste, but I'd miss it. I'd worry that I'd eat something bad though and not know it.

I would give up Taste. Hands down...I think you learn to 'feel' things in your mouth. When I had my tonsils out I couldn't tast for over a month (a nerve issue?) and I swear, I felt my foods. Salty foods felt "puckery", rich foods tastes "slick"...it is so hard to describe. It was just like a different way to taste, and I got used to it. When I DID get my taste back it was almost too much- I now have a blander taste over all, and avoid most sweets. Weird huh?

I would definitely pick hearing. I could learn to read lips and sign, but I like different foods too much to not ever be able to taste them again.

That's tough! As a total foodie, I'd hate to give up taste. But as someone mentioned above, it'd kill me not to be able to hear my child's voice ever again. I could live without yummies to hear him say I Love You for the first time.

I would give up taste. Even though I love to eat, I think I'd be sad if I couldn't hear my children.
