Do you consider yourself lucky?

I do.

No matter what life has thrown on me, I am able to get through it. Why? Does luck have to do with it? Or is it simply fate?

What do you feel lucky for?

~ my husband
~ my children
~ a roof over our heads
~ food on the table
~ our health. Yes, even my own.

Sometimes you have to think about the basics. So many people don't have these things. And I do. I am lucky beyond words.

What about you?

I am the same way. Everything always works out the way I want it to, no matter how much I worry that it's not going to.

I am so thankful for my healthy, beautiful family.

I feel very grateful for what I have in my life, but not from fate or luck, but I believe we create based on our belief and attitude, something we all utilize whether for positive or negative.

There are occasions when I settle into a poor us mindset but most of the time I realize how incredibly lucky and blessed we are.

I don't consider it luck, but a blessing. Different perspective for basically the same thing.

Overall I feel pretty lucky even with all the drama. Mainly because of my wonderful husband and our kids. I'm lucky to have them at all but even luckier that they are so awesome.

I would have to agree with everyone who feels what you do but calls it something other than luck.

I am blessed and fortunate for all the things you mentioned but I don't believe any of us have those things by accident. All of us have worked very hard to have the lives we have and will continue to have in the future...

I have always considered myself to be a very unlucky person. I always said that if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. That was even before the death of Shawn and my miscarriage. After that I just figured my luck was doomed and it would always be like that.

However at just about two years since Shawn's death I still don't consider myself a lucky person, I still have random shit happen that I swear only happens to me, but at the same time my "luck" has turned around.

I know am lucky enough to have found a great guy that I love and am loved back. I'm lucky enough to have gotten through the loss of Shawn and I'm happy to say that I'm lucky enough to have really started to begin enjoying and loving my life again.

I def. consider myself lucky. I've had alot of unlucky things happen in the past but my luck is finally turning around! Now that I am pregnant I feel so much more thankful for everything in my life. A healthy baby (so far), my hubbie, my house even though it's small, my family even though they'r nuts, my job even though I don't like it. At least I have these things... we've been blessed w/so much & sometimes all the bad stuff gets in the way and makes us forget how lucky we are. Great post. Got me a thinkin`!

I used to think I was really blessed... until INFERTILITY!

Although now I'm on the other side I see how it has made me a lot more empathetic and also has allowed me to bond with SO MANY WOMEN I never would have known.
