At least it got me laughing.

Your commments on my last post were about the funniest comments ~ever~. About 95% of you used "fuck" in some form. That's AWESOME.

I got orders for blood tests. But the virus takes up to 6 weeks to show, so if I go in now, I still have to get a second test done. I'm wondering why I should go get a first one if I still have to get a second.

This just can't be happening.

But, I'll get through it, regardless of what the outcome is. I can't panic before it happens, right?

Oh my god - that sucks!!! Hopefully you squeezed right by her cooties and avoided them. What a total bitch. Fingers and toes crossed for you

Wow, I'm the first to comment on your post? That never happens - I'm usually the last! Must be a mistake..

Hang in there.. this is totally screwed up but hopefully your fears are all for nothing. It's not 100% even if you did get exposed. Your body is tough!!!

Stay strong!

When was your last surgery that this could have been for? Was it the foot? Can't you just go in 6 weeks after that surgery, which is only what- another month?
I am really hoping that you are in the clear, this really sucks Nancy!

Fuck. There you go, now I said it too. :-D

What do you mean you can't panic before it happens? I panic about everything that is even remotely hypothetical :)

You would need a first test to check your liver function levels, then another one to compare the two, see if they have risen any.

Most people diagnosed with hep C remember feeling very very sick at the time of transmission ... sluggish, hard to poo, etc.

I'm so banking on you being in the clear, sweetheart. And what kind of a fucked up world do we live where this can happen??

XOXOX

I went back and read all the last comments and you're right, they are funny and "fuck" was used in some form! haha!

I would try to make you feel better and encourage you not to worry until you get the results but if it were me I'd be sweating balls right now!

Glad we could make you smile. Maybe I should have called that person an ass clown or a fucktard...they both would have been appropriate.

That's good that you were able to laugh about everyone's fuck comments. But serious, what the fuck is up with all these bad things going on? Hopefully things start looking up for you soon.

So she was some sort of psychopath trying to intentionally infect people?

Oh my god, Nancy. How fucking awful (still going with the fuck theme since it amuses you, love). I'm soooo hoping, needless to say, that you've dodged this bullet. You've had a lot of shit go down the past few months - surely this is when you get a pass. Right? Right?

Fuuuuuck.

Fuck indeed! When will you catch a break?
Thinking of you!

Holy shit, Nancy. What the fuck is wrong with people?!?!

Try not to panic. I know that is assvice I would laugh at but six weeks is soooo long to wait.

Thinking of you . . .

of COURSE you can panic before it happens! Won't do you much good and will only serve to get you totally wound up (like you aren't already, yeah?) but you can, if you so choose.

seriously...I'm going to bet that you're in the clear. Karma simply can NOT be this big of a bitch...can she? *glares at Karma*

I hope you have an anwser soon((hugs)) I have a feeling your going to be fine~

That's the fucked up thing about viruses, but Robin is right: it's never 100% even if you were exposed (though that's awfully cold comfort, I understand).

Maybe waiting is the best, until the window period is past. I personally get my panties in a huge wad every time I have to wait for results, so I'd likely wait until it was damn sure that a negative meant negative. Just my personal approach...

So, how many tequila shots does the hospital owe you now?

Holy crap, are you kidding me??? I'm so sorry about this, additional surgeries, toes, etc. It seems like everything that POSSIBLY could happen is happening to you.
Ugh.

I'm so sorry.

YOU? Panic or worry BEFORE it happens? No not you! And I didn't comment on the other post so....
Fucking A that sucks! What the Fuck People. I mean really WHAT THE FUCK!

Sarah R said...

LOL, I wrote down my initial response to your post because it was seriously that shocking!!!

I really, really hope you dodged the bullet.

As for the testing, at least if the first one says "negative", you can have a little more hope than if it already says "positive".

Now, would this be for the gallbladder surgery, the foot surgery, or the uterus surgery?

This lady's ass is going to get sued x a million. What a fucking IDIOT PSYCHO BITCH! Fuck her!

Holy shit, I just read the post below. What is WRONG with people? Ugh, I'm so sorry you have to go through this! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the crazy bitch tech came NOWHERE NEAR YOU!!

Nancy, I've been hearing the story in the news and I just can't believe you got caught up in this shit.

I'm thinking nothing but positive thoughts for you. You deserve a fucking break already.

Wait, is this from your surgery at the end of April? I found the article and it looks like they pulled her before your surgery. So...maybe you're okay and they are just being super careful? April 13-May 4th she wasn't working. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm not one to curse (much at least), but I'm there with this story. I read a little about it and what a B!&@$. This quote really got me going....

"I know, I (expletive) up," she said. "I can't take back what I did, but I will have to live with it for the rest of my life, and so does everyone else."

This is not something you can just sit back and say "oops...my bad."

I feel bad for the patients just for the fact they did not get their pain meds, but a saline solution and that's not even considering the worse part...Hep C infection. I hope the courts are NOT lenient with her.

Of course, I feel bad for her child. Who's been taking care of him while she's been on drugs and shooting up. Poor kid.

Hopefully, Eden is right and you were not infected at all. Just there during the time. How awful that you even have to worry about this!!

as someone that went through a Hep C scare somewhat recently I can tell you that it is ZERO fun and I hate that you are in limbo land with the testing shit.

Saw the story about this girl on Yahoo News today - I hope you got your results back and were clear. I can't believe they're only charging her with drug offenses. That's outrageous. Thinking of you today...
