... Once (and still) Infertile, but still Schnarky as hell. This blog is dedicated to the daily ramblings from the mind of Nancy. It isn't about anything profound in the grand scheme of things, but it ~is~ about things in my life, schnarkiness always included. I have a second blog, listed in my profile, but the blogs will continue to remain separate.

I think there are some of each.... Tenderheart-boy
Grumpy- boy
Secret- girl
Friendship-girl
bedtime- boy
Funshine- Girl.
Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head
I've always assumed that the pinks/purples were girls and the blues/greens were boys. The yellows... well, that's anyone's guess.
Good question!
I would also have to agree that it depends on the bear...
Now, what I want to know is what on earth made you ask that question...???
Oh wow... thats a good question... I'd go with some of the pp, pink/purples girls and green/blue boys... yellows to be determined (maybe they are like frogs and can change sex(i think its frogs that can do that))
Uh, I think it's time to step up the job search...
How's that going, btw?
I think there are some of each - but who knows what gender the yellow and light green ones are!!
I also think there are some of each, but have no clue for the life of me which are which!
Aren't they sort of unisex, like those freakish Teletubbies? I would think that the pink ones are girls though but who knows.
I don't know about Care Bears, but smurfs are asexual, according to Donnie Darko (one of my favorite dark humor comedies). :)
"First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. But the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have... reproductive organs under those little, white pants. It's just so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. You know, what's the point of living... if you don't have a dick?"
Hmmm, the bigger question is:
What the heck made you ask that question? LOL :)
I used to love the Care Bears. That is my childhood confession of the day. Oh, and I thought the Smurfs totally rocked as well!
A mixture I think!
I always assumed a mix of each but maybe their uni-sex?? I'm trying to remember episodes and I don't remember them referring to each other as he or she. It was always by name.
both
I know nothing about the Care Bears, sorry- no help from me! Just curious, what the hell made you ask that? :)
They're freaky-ass asexual things...
Uhhmmm interesting question. I guess they really don't say do they. I going out on a limb here and say there is some boys and some girls.
Can I ask why you are wondering? Or is is the girls that are asking you?
they all sound like boys when they talk.
Heh. To answer the oh-so-popular question of why I asked it ...
I was coloring with Allison today and she gave me the care bear coloring book. She colored her bear pink and then called her a "she".
Well, when she said "she", it sounded strange to me, as I guess I figured all care bears were boys. And then I tried to remember their voices from one of the bajillion times the girls watched their movies. And I still couldn't remember if there were boys and girls.
I'm thinking they are all asexual!
Too hilarious!! Why must we assign gender to cartoon characters? Why do we think pink is girl and blue is boy? Where HAVE these things come from?
care bears are like frogs... they are whatever gender is needed for reproduction.
I think some are boys and some are girls, but I have no logic or proof to back that up.
I think there are some of each, too.
You and your weird questions :-P
Both
The grumpy ones are of course the boys...
