I've ran out of things to do.

The laundry is done. The house is clean. I've seriously run out of things to do. What in the hell does a stay-at-home-mom DO all freaking day? I'm bored to death.

I had to laugh at all the "one-up" comments I got on my last post. Sheesh, way to bring a girl down! I'm all proud of myself and 99% of you just had to rub it in that it was nothing to be excited about because you were all bigger than me. Jeez!

I have a few shelves to put together, I guess I'll do that. Tom and I share a dresser, having only 2 drawers each (plus a lingerie draw for me), I simply need more freaking space. My bras alone take up and entire drawer. So last night I went to target and bought some little stack drawer sets. I'm going to add 4 drawers and a cabinet w/ door containing to shelves. I just don't have much motivation to put the thing together. Why can't anything be sold put together anymore?

I ~totally~ wasn't trying to one-up- sorry I did! I am jealous of the 34D! I wish I was that again- mine are just too big these days.

At least it's not Ikea- their directions have no words & all you use are wooden dowels & an allen key to put it together. Not the easiest to figure out for cheap ass particle board furniture!

You get all that shit done in a day; can I marry YOU instead? Rob makes messes, doesn't clean up after himself, and blames it all on "the kid--he's a slob". So I spend my weekends cleaning up his damn messes. Then he says I'm too anal. GRRRRRRRRR! If one parent stays home, it is just what you do--you do the majority of the cleaning (although I do the laundry because he would f it up). He doesn't get that because I "sit on my ass all day" at work.

I'm jealous that you're done.

I'm never done. Ever.

There's always something to do here -- but it's possible that I'm not very efficient...

And I"m jealous of your ladies lady --it's one thing to have measurements like I do and be pregnant or battling IF weight -- quite another to be rockin' the burlesque bod like you...

Hope you're well -- I know what you can do with your spare time -- you can email me

:)

XO

Pam

I agree with Jenn. I am super jealous that you are a 34D and looking as hot as you do!

Since you are done with everything at your house, could you come over to mine? My boys are sick and so am I, so the motivation to clean rather than veg (or even sleep) is not there.

As I've said before my life as a SAHM is a bit different. I don't get bored too often. On top of the 'normal' duties of a SAHM I do all the things the husband doesn't get to when he's home. For instance? Yesterday I laid concrete in the dog run. By myself. Yeah, it sucked. I also take care of the garden, run errands for myself and the husband. And I am usually running around doing things for other people too.

I have to say I was only a SAHM for a few months (starting again in Oct.) but I was never done, always busy. If I wasn't busy with the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I was busy with Colin. I still don't know how I will get my homework and be a SAHM maybe your cleaning system is better than mine!

You go girl...I don't have any kids and I am never done. I always have some project to do (like painting the chain-link fence ) or an errand to do for us or my parents.

Hopefully, your boredness will wear off soon :)

Too bad we don't live close to each other. Payton and I are getting bored on my maternity leave!

A stay at home mom who doesn't want to be bored DOESN'T STAY AT HOME! I love being a stay at home mom, but I spend most of my time doing fun stuff outside of the house with the kids. We meet friends for lunch, go to parks/playgrounds, museums, the aquarium, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, local pools, movies, story time at book stores and libraries, etc. Add all of that to soccer and dance classes, and there's never a dull moment!

Oh, and I think 34 D is the perfect size, and I can say that because that's my size too :).

I think SAHM's go out A LOT. I know I did when I was at home. That is why I like working part time.

But if you are looking for something to do don't forget my guest post! I need it soon so I can autopost before I leave :)

If you are bored, come over to my house and take care of some of the crap I can't find the time to get to...please?

Hey, wonder if that company I referred you emailed but it went to you spam? I sent them the other person's contact info yesterday and he heard back from them right away. Do you scan your spam?

Yeah - I don't understand how you are done and bored. I'm never done... actually no matter how much I dp in one day, my list seems to have grown larger by that night.

Do you have some technique that I'm not aware of?

Hey Nancy. I read your blog alot and really enjoy it. Thiss is really random, but if you're looking for an idea for a post, I'm curious what you and your readers feelings would be if you found out you were pregnant (after two years of infertility and rounds of IVF) and then your little sister announces she is pregnant at the same time after not even trying (due the same week, etc). Would you just be happy b/c you're pregnant or would you feel like your thunder was stoleN? How would you deal with it? I'm interested in your thoughts. Marie

You come clean my house, of course. I'm a SAHM but never feel like all the housework is done.

Nancy you are gorgeous.
I did get a good laugh from all the boob comments. I have no idea what size I am since I haven't worn a bra in about 27years (when last child was born) but suffice it to say, my boobs are booblets. They did a fine job of feeding my babies and I don't think I ever wished they were larger.
