My heart is melting

I am in utter shock over the comments I have received in the post below (well, actually, on my other blog).

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. That kind of support is simply overwhelming. You actually have put me in a place where I am beyond words.

We all love you Nancy, no need to thank us! :) Thank YOU, for opening up and sharing something like that!

Sometimes it takes reading someone elses struggles and strifes to come to the conclusion you may be on the same boat. It took great courage to "come out" about depression, however, I think I am still on the same boat you jumped off.

It's all because we love you. THat's the amazing thing about this forum- I honestly feel that you really do get what you give here. You support & rally for so many, it's only fitting that you get it back when you need it.

Besides- we <3 you!

Nancy~

I was so busy yesterday that I didn't comment on anybody's blog. I read your post this morning.

Thank you for being so up front and honest in that post. I'm sure it was difficult for you to tell us that.

Please know that we are all here for you when ever you need us. You have been wonderful to me this entire last year and ae still supporting me with your comments on my blog. Please know that I will be thinking about you.

I hope that everything continues to go well for you and remember, I like to help take care of people, so please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. (you know from all the way in Michigan)

You are great Nancy and we all love you!!

Damn I'm late on this.
Depression sucks and for those (such as yourself) who are willing to accept that that is what is happening there really is an easy fix. Brain chemicals get screwed up for all sorts of reasons and you had more than your share of reasons that could happen.
I'm so glad you are doing better. You are my hero.

You have always been so kind and supportive of everyone else when we needed you. It is the least we can do to be supportive of you. I'm just sorry that you were silently struggling for so long. I'm glad Tom confronted you about how you were doing so that you could get some help.

Now you are back to the regular Nancy that we all have gotten to know and love. You know, the one that does bold things like Burlesque. ;)

I didn't comment yesterday because I spent most of the day thinking about what you wrote. I can't thank you enough Nancy, you articulated so much of what I've been feeling lately. I've finally made an appointment to see my doc next week.
And I love you, did I mention that? In an appropriate way and the right amount of course ;)

nancy- I have lived very close to depression for 15 years. T suffers from SAD and has been on anti depressents for 6 years straight now. Prior to that it was a seasonal roller coaster until it got to the point that I had to force him to get help. I could not face one more day where I had to drive home and wonder if I would find him dead or alive....you are brave for getting help...Your husband is brave for asking you to. Clearly you love each other very much, this will strengthen your bond even more~
