When your husband isn't too thrilled with you, do ~not~ accept an invitation to attend a party at midnight. And do ~not~ stay out until 4:30am.
It's just ~not~ a good idea.
... Once (and still) Infertile, but still Schnarky as hell. This blog is dedicated to the daily ramblings from the mind of Nancy. It isn't about anything profound in the grand scheme of things, but it ~is~ about things in my life, schnarkiness always included. I have a second blog, listed in my profile, but the blogs will continue to remain separate.

That's too funny! Thanks for the advice!
Yeah, I wouldn't think that is too good of an idea. Yikes - my hubby wouldn't be too thrilled either.
I was going to say "On a work night??" but then I remembered, you have a holiday today! ; ) (Which I suppose doesn't make it any better in your husband's eyes...!).
holy crap, 4:30??? how do you do it? i had to give up my 4:30am days a few years back, they were killing me!
That's something he would do...and I sure wouldn't be too thrilled. Hope you had fun though ; )
Man, my life is just no where near as cool as yours. Lol :)
Damn, I'm never up then except for feeding. I'm a morning person though. Was it a good party?
:) I miss those days.
Remember your ace in the hole babe...
just look him dead in the eye and say
"Butterfly band aids"
:-D
lol Nancy...hope it was a fun time...for you!
Oops!
You've done this before. I know one time I was at a friend's house and we were playing cards and I'd had a couple drinks. (This was before kids, by the way). It was 1 am and after telling scary ghost stories, I decided to just stay overnight there and go home at 6 am. Not good. When I got home, my cell phone was broken and DH was super pissed. Guess I should have called! It was innocent and all, but he worried about me.
oy 4:30 -- I don't think I've ever made it to 4:30 -- I love sleep.
I'm such a lame early sleeper -- my mom used to have to entertain my sleepover guests... yes, that's true.
Sleep, how I love thee....

LOL
Yikes!!! That doesn't sound good!
You're hilarious!
Yikes!!! lol
Btw, I tagged you! Go check it out: http://elanasmusings.blogspot.com/2009/05/8-8-on-8.html
Uh-oh... sounds like somebody got in trouble...
My husband would be FURIOUS too. Lucky for him I'm a homebody and I rarely even make it past 10pm. LOL
;)
Hope everything's better today!

Haha...no, probably NOT a good idea.
How did you function through the day after being out to 4:30???
LOL! How long are you grounded for? ;)
Well....I could (and should have) told you that at 11:30 when you called to try to get me to come out with you. Oh man, why didn't I just tell you to go to bed! I guess I was just shocked because who calls at 11:30(and it isn't a emergency)to ask you to go out just because the party is in my neighborhood! heh.
I'm so lame that I would have been asleep well before midnight and missed the invitation!
I'm impressed! I don't think I could stay awake that late anymore. Sad, I know :)
Oops!
Honestly girl I don't know how you do it. Where you find the energy for parties between work, the kids, roller derby, the hubby, etc. I do not know!
I realized awhile ago I can't hang like I used to...
WE NEED TO PARTY together! I can't find a single one of my friends who can handle those nights with me anymore. At 35 I have just as much energy as I did in my 20's.
And with my not having a hubby... I won't get in trouble... You still might... :)
