I was just sitting outside on the ~side~ of my house bagging some newspapers for recycling, complete with a clay facial mask on, and two adults carrying their little girl, no more than 18 months old, came up and said "trick or treat".
It's 10:45pm here people. And 39 degrees. Are you serious? Take your little girl home and put her to bed. It's just too late for free candy.

I swear some people are just plain stupid!
That's just f'd up.
Daaaaang. My mom always made sure I was done trick or treating by like 8pm (7pm if possible). lol We got zero trick-or-treaters here. Heh, I guess the kids around here know the Jews aren't giving out candy on Halloween. :-D
No shit! my son has always been in by 8:00, 9 the latest. That's on his own, even he knows what's too late.
Really? It was all over by 7:30 here... but it was a very windy and rainy night for trick or treating.
Now,that's just crazy.
???WTF??? Some "parents" just don't think.
I would expect that from teenagers who don't think before they just show up at all hours of the night but parents of an 18 month old? That's crazy!
Why does an 18 month old need tons of candy anyway?
Even the 15 year olds in masks just out for candy were in by 9!
We have trick or treating "hours" in our town - 6-9 pm. We finally left our house at 6:30 and that's when we also had our first kids come by. (I don't know what's wrong with these people! If we had a Saturday Halloween, we were out from after lunch until after dark!) But the last people we had came at 8:55. At that time I turned off the porch light, but the neighborhood was deserted anyway. We live in a very polite area, I guess.
We were out with my 9 month old niece...but it was 55 degrees, and we were back home by 7:20. People are crazy!
that is insane. 1045??? Crazy. We had a couple bring by an infant. Like totally looked like she had just squeezed him out! He was in a sling- and the mom said he weighed 6 pounds. I was to stunned to ask how old he was.
OMG! I wouldn't have answered the door. What idiots!
seriously, that is messed up. And that they had to come find you....
That's rediculous.
Maybe they were desperate...I heard there is a dentist in Denver who is buying back all of the Halloween candy from kids. lol
Weirdos!
We don't do halloween here, but that sounds pretty silly to me, too.
g
And I thought the 9:30 - 45 teens last year were really late!
