It's Thursday night and I'm in an anxious mood for no particular reason. Therefore, I'm going to ramble on a bit with some bullet points ...
~ I just fixed our toilet. The pump thingy wasn't figuring out the tank was full and not shutting off the water. So I made a trip to home depot, got a $6 pump and voila! Fixed. That toilet has been shut off for a good 5-6 weeks because it leaked and it was a freaking 10 minute fix.
~ I always sneeze two times in a row and lately it's been only one time. This is seriously strange for me. Seriously. I miss my second sneeze. I feel unfinished.
~ There is a puke smell coming out of the vent down the aisle from me at work. I opened a ticket, but nothing has happened so far. Bummer.
~ Speaking of work - I've been busting my ass the past few days. It feels good.
~ My husband was in a shitty mood after work and he can't leave work outside the home. It sucks.
~ I miss advil. I really need some.
~ I bought new carpet for the three bedrooms today. I've figured it'll cost a tad under $1600 but haven't gotten an estimate yet. They'll be out to measure next Tuesday.
-- baby stuff mentioned now --
~ I can feel Karl kicking me everyday now. My placenta has moved up, opening up a place on my lower belly where I can feel strong kicks. It's pretty fucking cool and I just love it. I took a bath tonight and I actually saw a few kicks. Alienesque, yes, but cool.
~ I bought all of the bedding. Did I mention this already? It can be found here if you are interested. I even bought the little orange monkey you can see in the expanded view ~and~ the dark wall letters.
~ My fucking calves hurt. They ACHE all day. Sucks.
~ I also have daily heartburn. Fucking awesome.
~ I put up my newest belly picture over there ---->
I feel weird talking about the cons of pregnancy and I also feel bad talking about the fun of pregnancy. I know it's my blog and all that, but yeah. You've all heard it before.
Roller Derby this weekend!!! If you are close to colorado springs, I can hook you up! Let me know if you want to catch a bout Saturday night. It's a double header. The first two teams play at 3pm, but my team plays at 7.Well, how about that for a whole lot of randomness?

That bedding is too cute. Love it. Im sorry you have more heartburn and a puke smell and a pissy hubby and a need for advil hehe On the up side you go girl about fixing the toilet AWESOME!!! Your new belly pic doesnt look too much diff from the last. In case you didnt know I always ready you blog ever since you got prego. So for ahh 22 weeks now hehe. When I spoke to you on WEbmd board that day I thought you were just great. So Ive been reading :) And might I say you are quite interesting and your kids are adorable. I read your post on the other blog about the "needing more" when you were still trying to get prego. And hunny I so feel you. Thats def how I feel and I wrote a blog pretty much just like that on my myspace and got tons of shittyness about how I should be happy I have one kid. WEll I am truly happy but I do want more. Like you my little family wont be complete until I have a baby girl to add to it. Except you needed a boy hehe. I have the boy :) Not Im rambling haha. Just wanted to you know I think your swell...and I will continue to read.
Oh ya and I should have added that my webmd name is ksmommy27 diff then this aol name :)
I love ramblings!! The bedding is SO cute...I love it!! By the way, DH finally made it home.
Good luck with the icky smell at work, hopefully it gets resolved soon.
Yes- alienesque!
Thank you. For the life of me I could never remember the name of that darn movie when I was trying to describe to people how it felt to have babies writhing around in there.

I love the bedding! I think monkeys & babies go perfectly together!
I'm sp glad that a spot opened up for Karl to kick the hell out of you- I can't wait for that, but I have to say the thought of seeing it both fascinates & creeps me out. I'm sure it'll be different when it actually happens, but right now it's still in that unimaginable realm.
and OT- I never did put that together- We are also 1 day off from being 10w apart. Pretty cool!
Love the monkey bedding!
I love derby!! We have an awesome team here in Indy. Several of our friends are on it.
The bedding is fabulous.
Love the bedding and the whole room design so cute!!
What about rubbing a tennis ball or a baseball on your calves? Would that ease the aching, or is it not like a leg cramp so it wouldn't help?
I'm sorry hubby is having such a crapfest at work. What about putting venting on a time limit? You get two minutes to bitch and then it's all about the family.
Love the Monkeys...
Love the belly...
Love the name...
Totally jealous of the kicks...still not feeling a damned thing!
OT: My dad lives in CO Springs. When I was a teenager I spent my summers there and a few weeks in the winter (at the time both my parents and Sister lived there)...
DH and I are hoping to get out there next year in the summer or fall to bring the baby to meet my Dad...will def take you up on roller derby then, as long as you are back into participating that is!
Achy calves? I had that too when I was pregnant. It does suck, doesn't it? You can stretch them all day and it doesn't seem to help!
Don't get me started on the heartburn! I am sorry you are experiencing it - that sucks too!
Cool on feeling Karl. Even cooler now that he has a name and you can call him something other than "baby". So fun!
Belly pic looks cute!
I'm such a sucker for Pottery Barn -- and that bedding is cuuuuuuuuute.
It sounds like, as G would say, a bunch of horseshit stuff going on around there right now -- what with work stress and grumpy hubby and icky smells...
G's work definitely creates an ebb and flow of stress and home life can really suck when he feels crazy -- I always just do my own thing and tell myself that it will pass soon.
As for visuals on the kicking -- COOL -- and okay, kind of creepy but mostly cool...you are certainly looking beautifully pregnant and manage to be one of those women who looks just simply pregnant --
I have so much admiration for you -- you really are a woman who manages to kick ass at work and have two beautiful girls --- and, just, wow.
You ROCK. And you're a roller derby queen...I mean come ON.
XO
Pam
I just LOVE the monkey bedding! It's funny you mentioned the toilet thing because ours has been doing the same thing for a month so we just don't use that one...why is it so freaking hard to do a simple 10 min. task for me?!? LOL! It's even harder walking on the other end of the house when I have to pee at night, which is oh..at least 4 times. ugh..
Nancy, the bedding is cute and I hope the heartburn goes away.
You aren't playing in the roller derby are you? I'm afraid that a fall could hurt you and Karl.
Stacie
I fucking love you for saying voila! I think you just put it in there just for me-to make me happy and it did! I laughed my ass off! Sorry things have been crappy and I haven't been around. We'll chat tonight I promise. I/we need some girl time (o.k. I need it but I am pulling you down with me! heh).
Can't wait to see/feel the kicking and to check out the newly fixed toilet. You go girl for taking the reigns and fixing it. We knew 5 weeks ago that your hubby wasn't gonna do it! LOVE YA!!!!!
Laurel, Although I didn't think of it when I first typed it, after I wrote it, I did think of you and laughed. So that should count. :)
Yeah, in fact, what the boys did 5 weeks ago was created a leak that was coming from the tank itself and all they did was tighten the water hose thing. I had to get down on my back and tighten the tank nut. I really shouldn't say "boys" because if P was in there alone, he'd of done it right, but with mine at the helm, well, yeah. :)
I love the bedding! It is too cute and the colors are great. I like how the orange stands out against the blue.
I had a random one bad thing after another day at work yesterday. And things didn't get better until AFTER my shift was over and I was leaving. WTF?!?! Can't there be any left over shit for night shift to take care of?
I can't wait until I feel stuff. Seeing kicks might freak me out a little bit (I think Hubby will definitely have issues) but to *feel* it will be . . . awesome.
The belly is still looking great! You have a beautiful baby belly.
I love reading your ramblings. Glad you could be Mr. Fixit--I don't trust myself to do any plumbing. I used to get charlie horses on a daily base when I was pregnant--it was usually in the middle of the night though (jumping out of the bed in pain is oh so fun!). That bedding is super cute! I LOVE IT! :)
LOL "Mr. Fixit"...I meant "Ms."
Sorry! I'm @ work.
Love the bedding! We like monkeys around our house.
The bedding is adorable. And so are you!
I was glad to see that it is indeed okay to say "fucking" when commenting on your blog. (It's a fucking great word.) Good job on fixing the toilet. I love when I can fix things at the same time I share your thought on the toilet having been turned off for 5-6 weeks and it was a fucking 10 minute fix. I'm sorry your husband has work stuff that allowed him to come home in a pissy mood. (from what I have learned from you about him I can only imagine that he hates when that happens and would much prefer that he NOT bring that stuff home but sometimes a person can't help themselves.) Glad to hear that Karl is making his presence known.
Is it just me or did your boobs grow more than your belly since the last pic???
THe last picture, my boobs were not in a bra, they were in a flimsy top. So the bra holds them up better. :)
I love the monkey bedding! It's so cute.
I'm also insanely jealous of your boobs. Hope that's not too weird. You make me want to run out to the plastic surgeon right now and buy myself a pair!
Ohhh i love the bedding. I am jealous!
Our Thumper will have bambi as hubby found one he likes.
That bedding is super cute.
I LOOOOORVE the bedding. Monkeys make me happy. I am cracking up that you feel unfinished because you sneezed just once. Sounds like something I would do.
