Welcome home! (updated w/ picture link)

I'm home. I was greeted with smiles and roses and kisses. A homecoming can't be better than that.

It was a nice trip, but as always, it's nice to be home. Plus, knowing I am flying back to Phoenix in 4 weeks made it much easier to leave. Usually, I feel a bit of sadness during takeoff, but not this time. Plus, each time I leave gets easier and easier, as Phoenix is feeling less and less like my home. I never thought I'd feel this way, but Colorado is definitely feeling like "home", not just the place I'm living.

I'm going to get back into the swing of things at home and work and then I'm going to work on all your questions/topics you left for me last week. Tomorrow's post should be a hodgepodge of topics, but it should be very interesting.

----

I updated an out of schedule belly picture on my belly picture page. (Not the comparison page that can be found via the picture on the sidebar.) I feel way bigger this week but the picture difference from last week doesn't really show much. Maybe I'm just insane.

Welcome home hun. I imagine it is hard to leave the red rocks behind for good. I went to boarding school for a year in Oak Creek Canyon and spent some very very wonderful times in Bisbee.

Glad you made it home safely! And you are right about the belly pic - not so much bigger, but a different shape since last week. Cute though!

Welcome back! Wow, I can see a difference in your new belly pic!

Just to compare, here was me at 16 weeks (close enough). I wasn't even close to that: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t299/sarahrank71506/Belly%20Pics/16wside.jpg

And here I am at 24w2d: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t299/sarahrank71506/Belly%20Pics/24w2dsideview.jpg

Welcome home! I was on vacation but read some of your blog. I am glad to hear that your baby is ok and you are doing good. You were totally in my thoughts and prayers threw your cvs and healing process. Sorry this is so late but I wanted to let you know. Glad to hear you had fun in Phoenix. I would have paid to see the pregnant women kick butt! ;)

Yay! Welcome back! Glad you had such a great time & get to go back so soon. I had the same feelings the last time I left NY- It's just not home anymore & that's a strange feeling!
I think you definitely are a different shape this week- much higher, but not much bigger, but higher would mean more prominent so I could see it feeling much bigger!

Thanks about the twin thing- I was never quite sure which numbers matter more for that- the numbers or the doubling time. My numbers do fall within the twin chart- but in the lower end, while they are consistently high in the singleton. Hopefully I find out soon though...

Jeez I take some time off and suddenly there's a question and answer period? Can I still get in on that?

If so: In what moment of your life did you make a decision that you knew would change your life forever? Did It? Did you ever regret the decision?

That's all I got.

:)

XO,

Pam

Damn momma, I can almost say you are bigger than me and I'm 17w! Of course this is my first and I think you show more AFTER your first! But anyways..there's nothing better than coming home to such a loving family and knowing you were missed! :)

Thanks! Don't worry, the day will come soon enough that you'll get to meet your little guy! Enjoy your pregnancy before you get uncomfortable. I miss being pregnant so much! The growing belly, the excitement of the next appointment, the anticipation....all of it!

And yeah, breastfeeding is the most rewarding thing I've EVER done in my life. You're not a dork for being excited to do it again! It is so much of a needing, nurturing feeling inside when you're pregnant awaiting that baby.

Welcome home! (a little late)

You don't look "bigger" to me, but you're definitely poking out more. That doesn't make any sense now that I've typed it...but it's the only way I can explain it. You look wonderful!
