What is your rule for cd1?

Yeah - 2 hours after posting my last entry, she's here.

What is your own/ob/re's rule for cd1? I can't quite remember what mine said. I ~think~ it's anytime after 5pm means the next day is cd1. Since it was pretty much 5pm, I'm wondering if I should count today or tomorrow. For now, I'm going with today.

Isn't it funny how IFers ponder such stupid questions?

Yeah, I know. Think of all the fertiles who just moan about their period and never give any thought to cycle length or start day!

I didn't know there was a rule about time of the day. I always assumed if it happened during the waking hours of your day, that was CD1. Though I guess that could even be different for everyone.

Okay so my response was really a whole lot of nothing, lol.

Mine said anything before 6pm is CD1, anything after CD1 is the next day. How on earth I got to the point that I know this shit...

Jenera, Don't worry, you've never had to go through infertility to get yours, so we don't expect you to know :) :) :) (did you see my congrats? I didn't even know!)

I actually learned it from you, but I cant remember fur sure either, I was thinking it was after 4pm was next day, but I dunno. So far I've either started early or real late and counted it as the next day. I'd probably say at 5pm to count it as the next day. That would be my vote. Or maybe we could start counting half days, "I'm on CD 14-1/2 :)"

Yeah I got it, lol. No worries, I've had a couple of people say they didn't know either. I guess the post got lost in the shuffle.

Thank you!

I'm definitely counting yesterday as cd1 now. AF was so heavy that it just has to be counted. So today is cd2.

heh. The things we worry about!

Thanks everyone for answering me!

I dunno, I just consider CD1 the day I start bleeding, regardless of time.

My RE considers CD1 the day you start bleeding regardless of time. It's amazing how much we know about our girlie functions down to the hour!
