This video is less than 2 minutes long. It's not the visuals. It's the song. Listen and you will ~totally~ understand. The lyrics are simple, easy to understand and short (most lyrics are said in first 30 seconds). Please, take a listen.
... Once (and still) Infertile, but still Schnarky as hell. This blog is dedicated to the daily ramblings from the mind of Nancy. It isn't about anything profound in the grand scheme of things, but it ~is~ about things in my life, schnarkiness always included. I have a second blog, listed in my profile, but the blogs will continue to remain separate.

I'm an absolute Smiths fanatic and this song brings up so many emotions in me. I have played that song over and over during some very trying times in my life. I can understand why it hits home for you as well.
I'm rooting for you!

Nancy, I've never been a fan of 'older' type music but the words are perfect. I notice more of the older songs have more meaning than anything new these days.
Please, let me get what I want
Well, I know what I'll be humming all day.
Check out my old "at-bat songs" post from January 9th. This is song 9 on my list. Different situation, but similar sentiment.
Wow, those lyrics ring true for so many of us. Thanks for such an impactful post today.
I so hope this all goes in one forward direction soon for you.
I love that song. Whenever I am feeling down I listen to that song. I hope you get what you want.

Ack! I absolutely LOVE the Smiths and remember playing this song (along with my Queen is Dead "tape") over and over again in my HS years. Particularly during the hormones-out-of-whack year I call, sophomore year.
Ironic that I hear this song now when, once again, my hormones are completely out of whack.
HUGS to you, Nance. If this invokes the same feelings as I remember it doing to me ... I know that you're in need of a big hug ...
This song is so perfect for this crappy IF life - it's on my music player on my blog, too. I'm hoping you get what you want really really soon.
How did I know that was what song that was.
((hug))
Love me some Smiths, and I really hope you get what you want.
